Editorial Articles placed on the site are chosen by 15 Seconds staff based on technology covered and interest to our audience. Ideas Please submit your ideas via the submission form. One paragraph per idea, five to six sentences should be appropriate. Articles should focus on solutions not tools. Tricks for programming, performance information, or your great ideas are the best articles. Timing You should be able to complete the article in one to two months after the idea has been accepted. Please do not start until we have given you the green light on the idea. We will be able to work with you for the exact schedule. Format The article should be submitted in an ACSII text file or Microsoft Word, which ever is easier. Please do not do any formatting, we do all the formatting for the articles. All images should be submitted separately as .gifs and not embedded in the Word Document. Please spell check the article before sending it to us. Graphics All images should be submitted as .gif and should not be wider then 500 pixels. Images should be in 16-colors. The color and size requirements meet the minimal browser and screen resolution that we support for our readers. Length The article should be 5-10 pages in Word and can be up to 20 but no shorter than 5. This includes source code that you may embed in the article. If you need an example of the length please see the 15 Seconds web site. Author Biography When submitting an article please submit an author biography and a promotion paragraph about your consulting firm or company. Editing We will be editing your article for grammar and spelling. We will also be formatting it. We reserved the right to change or modify a part of the article. However, you will be able to get final review. This is the same procedure the magazines or books use for accepting content. I am looking forward to your ideas, if you have any questions please let me know. Kind Regards, Steven Kapsinow Editor 15 Seconds
